DEVELOPMENTAL (Ages 0-5) | Playing Experience 0 years

 

Learn fundamental movement skills and build overall motor skills. Participation once or twice per week in basketball but daily participation in other sport activity is essential for further excellence.

 

PROGRESSIVE (Ages 6-9) | Playing Experience 1-3 years approx.

 

Learn all fundamental and basic basketball-specific skills, establish building blocks for overall basketball skills. Predominantly time is spent on individual fundamental training versus on actual game competition.

 

ADVANCED (Ages 10-14) | Playing Experience 4-8 years approx.

 

Build the aerobic base, build strength towards the end of the level and further develop overall basketball skills. Build the “engine” and consolidate basketball skills. Predominantly time is spent on individual training versus on competition including 5×5 play, special games (1×1, 2×2, 3×3, skill games) as well as team-oriented practices.

 

PERFORMANCE (Ages 15-18) | Playing Experience 9-12 years approx.

 

Maximize physical fitness, mental fitness, basketball IQ, and competition preparation as well as individual and position-specific skills. Further develop the “engine” of skills and performance. Training to competition ratio shifts to favor more game-like competition, understanding that the competition percentage includes team-oriented practices and other competition-specific preparations.

PRO (Ages 19+) | Playing Experience 13+ years approx.

 

Optimal proficiency in physical fitness, mental fitness, basketball IQ, and competition with a complete mastery in position-specific skills. A comprehensive development of the “engine” of skills and performance. Able to perform at a super efficient level in both training to competition while spending maximum time during the off-season on total individual training. As season, approaches training to competition ratio shifts to favor more game-like competition. During season, able to focus as needed on training as well as competition.
