SONIA CHASE BASKETBALL CLINICS
DEVELOPING PLAYERS TO NOT ONLY COMPETE ON THE COURT, BUT ALSO IN LIFE!
Just wanted to thank you guys for bringing in Coach Chase to conduct her camp at Bowies City Gym, and giving my son and daughter the opportunity to become better players. I have twins and they are very competitive. Right off the back the staff challenged my kids. My son was particularly challenged with his shooting and my daughter with her ball handling. They were both provided the foundation to help them improve their skills and much of it had to do with their confidence. The lessons learned were invaluable and will benefit them for the rest of their lives. Thanks again for all that you do and for being so Passionate about the most important aspect of the game – Confidence!

I was impressed how Ms. Chase and her staff kept the campers engaged with demonstration and explanations to why we practice basketball skills. I think so many times we as coaches have our players perform drills that are meant to improve skill, but if the player doesn't understand the purpose they just go through the motions and don't get a lot out of it. Each player saw and understood why these drills were going to make them better and every camper showed tremendous effort to succeed. I recommend the NIKE basketball camp to any player who simply wants exposure to college coaches and to learn the game at an advanced level.

Once again, the NIKE camp you held at Bowie City Gym was excellent! I am glad there are mentors like you out there to teach kids this game and try to break the bad habits they have acquired. Thank you for that. My son Alex really enjoyed it and he said he learned new drills that he can practice in the off-season. It was also fun just watching the kids have a good time.

The NIKE Basketball camp was one of the best sports experiences my son has had. The encouraging atmosphere set by Coach Chase in the beginning of the camp and the camaraderie among the athletes was great! The skills that the student-athletes learned are both practical and easy to recreate at home for further practice. Coach Chase’s staff members are also great with the kids. I would highly recommend this camp to any basketball player as way to improve and to learn some life lessons through sports.

Coach Chase’s camp at Lake Arbor Community Center was the most informative camp that I have ever seen! Coach Chase and her awesome staff enjoyed teaching these kids and it showed. I learned just as much as the kids did and came away with a whole new skill routine. I wish my entire team could do the camp because they would truly benefit from the fundamental teaching and patience of the staff members. Ms. Chase made everything seem so easy and taught the kids not to be afraid to fail. Excellent camp and I would send my daughter to this again and again. Please inform me about any more upcoming camps.

There are 5 levels to this program including Developmental, Progressive, Advanced, Performance, and Pro. The Developmental Program is geared toward youth ages and abilities of 3-5, the Progressive Program is geared toward player’s ages and abilities of 6-9, the Advanced Program is geared toward player’s ages and abilities ages 10-14, the Performance Program is geared toward player’s ages and abilities of 15-18, and the Pro Program is centered around player’s ages and abilities of 19 and older. The levels enable players to be grouped by ability based on a variety of measurable skill sets. Each level has a color name and each player is given a color-coded wristband to wear to their weekly session. The curriculum is customized for the skill level of each class color. There are two levels in the Developmental rank (Yellow Level and Green Level), two levels in the Progressive rank (Orange Level and Blue Level), three levels in the Advanced rank (Purple Level, Red Level, White Level), two levels in the Performance rank (Black Level and Silver Level), and one level in the Pro rank (Gold Level), all with progressive skill challenges involving footwork, physical conditioning, mental conditioning, basketball IQ, advanced training techniques, competitive games, and overall basketball skill development. Players must practice and ultimately complete these challenges before graduating to the next level.
